Comprehensive Guide to Installing Iris on macOS Using KegWorks Winery
Here's the process I followed to get Iris working without the need to purchase a third-party tool. Your feedback is welcome!
Let's Get Started
Before beginning the installation process, ensure you have administrator access to your Mac and a stable internet connection. You'll also need an Intangi account to download the Iris software and provide authentication during setup.

Download Resources
Download IrisSetup.exe from Intangi website
Launch Terminal
Open Terminal application on your Mac
Install Command Line Tools
Install macOS Command Line Tools if not already installed
Install HomeBrew & KegWorks
Install HomeBrew package manager and KegWorks Winery
Open KegWorks Application
Launch KegWorks Winery from Applications folder
Configure KegWorks
Set up the Wine engine and create a wrapper for Iris
Install Iris
Install Iris within the KegWorks environment
Initial Configuration
Log in to Intangi and complete initial Iris setup
Create Alias
Create an alias for easier access to Iris application
Step-by-Step Installation Process
Download Resources
Go to https://www.intangi.com and log in. Download IrisSetup.exe.
Launch the Terminal application
Install macOS Command Line Tools
xcode-select --install
if your Mac already has CLT installed you can skip this part
Install HomeBrew & KegWorks Winery
Install HomeBrew by executing:
/bin/bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/HEAD/install.sh)"
Hit return and let the installation run to completion.
followed by:
brew upgrade brew 
install --cask --no-quarantine Kegworks-App/kegworks/kegworks
Open Finder to Applications
select the KegWorks Winery app.
There is an expected delay at this point.
Configure kegWorks Winery
On the KegWork Winery window click the + symbol.
Select the latest Engine from the list.
Select "Download and install"
Close the Add Engine window.
Currently, it is WS12WineCSX23.7.1_3
On the KegWorks Winery window:
Under Wrapper Version click Update.
On the dialogue click OK.
Click "Create New Blank Wrapper"
In the Create a Wrapper window:
Name your wrapper Iris click OK
There is a delay expected at this point. 1-2 minutes.
Installing Iris from KegWorks Config
On the Wrapper Creation Finished window:
Click "View wrapper in Finder" to open up the Kegworks folder in Finder.
Run Iris.app from the Kegworks folder:
Select "Browse" and select the correct Directory
The URL in the "Windows App" section is incorrect and must be changed immediately.url is in the "Windows app" bar! This must be changed!
The correct url ends with "\Iris.exe".
If the Macintosh hard drive is not visible on your device, please refer to the appendix located at the end of this document for further guidance and troubleshooting steps.
In the KegWorks window popup:
Click on Install Software
In the Installer window:
Select the option labeled "Setup Executable" and navigate to the location of the file you downloaded earlier, which should be named IrisSetup.exe. Make sure to click on this file to begin the installation process.
At this stage of the process, you can anticipate a delay. If you receive a prompt, please grant access to the designated folder on your Mac. Once you've done that, return to the previous step and choose the Setup Executable to proceed with the installation.
Login into Intangi
Perform initial configuration and close Iris.
If you see a warning about no new executables, click OK.
it is also potentially good to select the boxes to save credentials.Selecting the option to save your credentials can be advantageous, as it allows for quicker and more convenient access to your accounts in the future. This feature can help streamline your login process, making it easier without the need to remember or enter your username and password each time.
Locate the Iris.app and create an Alias.
For added convenience, you might want to create an alias for Iris. This allows you to run the application from different locations on your system without having to navigate back to the Applications folder each time. For example, to simplify the process of starting Iris on your macOS, it's recommended to launch the application from your Applications folder.

Maintenance Tips
For ongoing maintenance, periodically run brew update in Terminal to keep your Homebrew installation current. If you need to access KegWorks Winery settings again, right-click on Iris.app, select "Show Package Contents," and navigate to the KegWorks configuration options.
